Work safety and healthy

In order to prevent occupational accidents happening, the company spared no effort to ensure work safety of employees (including all cooperation partners) by improving the working environment. The company has set up Safety and Health Committee to discuss the safety and health plan (including education and training, measures to improve the operation environment, prevention and management of hazards, audit, contractor management and health promotion, etc.) in order to smoothly deliver relevant occupational safety and health information. So as to maintain our factory’s occupational safety and health management system, enable it to operate effectively, and ensure that the activities, products and services of the factory can continue to meet the requirements of occupational safety and health management laws and relevant regulations, and provide a safe working environment for employees.

Relevant work safety and health matters of employees are as follows:

  • Conduct regular employee health examination in accordance with laws and regulations every year.
  • Arrange safety and health education and training courses every year.
  • Implement work environment inspection every six months.
  • Insure employees against accident and medical care.
  • Stipulate “measures for the prevention and management of sexual harassment”, provide channels for complaints, and maintain the order of the working environment.
  • Stipulate precautions for disaster emergency response countermeasures, hold fire-fighting workshops and drills every six months, and regularly hold safety maintenance meetings.

Labor Safety and Health Committee setting up

The committee holds a meeting once a quarter, with department executives and members of the Labor Safety and Health Committee all participating. At present, the number of labor representatives has exceeded that of one-third proportion required by the law to discuss the safety and health plan of the factory, including education and training, operation environment inspection and countermeasures of the working environment improvement, prevention and management of hazards, audit, contractor management and health promotion etc. To ensure the continuous and effective operation of the occupational safety and health system, provide a safe working environment, and ensure the work safety of employees (including all partners).

Safety and health management procedure

In order to improve the safety and health awareness and capability of grassroots employees, and care about each other’s safety at work site and transportation, in addition to the basic work safety courses, each department executive needs to carry out work safety education and training every month, as well as work deliver precautions and work safety matters through daily morning meetings.

Emergency management

The company has stipulated the “emergency response procedures”. When an abnormal event occurs, the supervisor will be notified at first and the situation will be eliminated according to SOP. If there are safety concerns that cannot be eliminated immediately, the emergency response plan will be started. After ensuring the safety of all personnel, normal work can be resumed. After the emergency is eliminated, the general manager shall convene a meeting to review and propose policies to prevent the recurrence of the event as the basis for revising the emergency response plan.

The company encourages all employees to automatically and spontaneously communicate and assist others from a kind and equality perspective at any time, and provide suggestions by means of weekly meetings, monthly meetings or employee mailboxes, so as to establish a friendly and safe working environment, develop the habit of safety for all employees and safety at all times, and create a disaster free working environment.

Employee health examination

Aleees takes importance of the health of employees, and regularly appoints medical institutions to our factory to conduct health examinations for employees every year. For colleagues in dust and noise workplaces, special health examinations are added, and labor operation environment tests are carried out every six months to ensure the health of employees.

Contractor safety management

Aleees takes importance of the safety management of all cooperation partners – suppliers, third-party manufacturers and contractors, and adopts the same standards as internal employees to minimize injuries. The company requires all contractor personnel entering the plant for construction to receive safety and health education and hazard notification training to let each contractor personnel performing various operations in our plant can feel that the company takes importance of their life safety.
